About Star Academy

Star Academy, one of five Natomas Charter School academies, offers students a comprehensive and student-centered curriculum in a supportive and nurturing environment.  Through differentiated instruction, hands-on learning activities emphasize critical thinking and encourage creativity, and moderate class sizes provide an opportunity to meet each individual student's needs.

Star Academy currently offers instruction in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and grades kindergarten to fifth grade.

By utilizing multi-faceted approaches, real-world examples, applications, and experiences, our vision is to develop well-rounded individuals of character who possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to become global citizens and lifelong learners.

The Natomas Charter School shall be nonsectarian in its programs, admissions policies, employment practices and all other operations, shall not charge tuition, and shall not discriminate against any pupil on the basis of ethnicity, national origin, gender or disability.
